Eric Breed
Eric is client service director for a bulb exporter in North Holland, a freelance bulb photographer and consultant, and author of two other books: Lost Tulips and Tulip Fields of Holland. He is also chairman of the nomenclature committee of the Royal General Bulb Growers’ Association. He lives in Lisse in South Holland.

Sjaak de Groot
Sjaak was a commercial grower of orchids for the cut flower industry. Now retired, he enjoys curating his collection of rare flower bulbs. He is currently at work writing a book on wild tulips. He lives in De Zilk, South Holland.

Arie Peterse
Arie is a lily and tulip breeder for a large bulb growers’ cooperative in Lisse, The Netherlands.

Vladimir Kolbintsjev
Vladimir has served as the group’s guide in many of the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. He knows the Tien Shan and other mountain ranges like the back of his hand.

Willem Lemmers
Wim is a retired bulb grower from Lisse in the Netherlands and the most experienced bulb hunter in the world. He wrote the text for Tulipa, A Photographer’s Botanical.

Marijn van den Brink
In his day job, Marijn teaches mechanical engineering. His passions are mountaineering and botanizing. He lives in Eindhoven in South Holland.
